Job Description

Licensed Physical Therapist — Cherrelyn Healthcare Center | Littleton, CO

Part-Time & Full-Time | $45–$52/hr DOE

What You're Walking Into

Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Littleton, CO, part of Stellar Senior Living — one of the West's most recognized senior living operators. We're not a revolving door facility. Our therapy team works with residents through real recovery milestones: post-surgical rehab, stroke recovery, fall prevention, and return-to-home planning.

This isn't a high-pressure hospital caseload. You'll have time to do the work right.

The Role

You'll carry a structured caseload of skilled nursing residents, developing and executing individualized PT plans that directly impact mobility, functional independence, and discharge outcomes.

Your day-to-day includes:

  • Initial evaluations and goal-setting for new admissions
  • Therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance work, and functional mobility
  • Transfer training and assistive device assessment
  • Coordinating with nursing, OT, SLP, and care teams on shared resident goals
  • Family education on home safety, carry-over exercises, and discharge prep
  • Documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility standards

No surprises. Clear expectations. A team that shows up for each other.

What We Offer
  • $45–$52/hr, commensurate with experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid Time Off + paid holidays
  • 401(k)
  • Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support
  • Predictable scheduling — no on-call requirements
  • A stable, growing company with real advancement pathways into senior therapy and clinical leadership roles
Who Thrives Here
  • PTs who want to build genuine relationships with their patients — not rotate through 30-minute slots
  • Clinicians who value a collaborative, interdisciplinary care model
  • Therapists who are done with the chaos of hospital or acute settings and want consistent, meaningful caseloads
  • People who care about older adults — not as a talking point, but as a reason they chose this field
Requirements
  • Active Colorado Physical Therapy license in good standing
  • Degree from an accredited PT program (DPT or equivalent)
  • SNF or post-acute experience preferred — not required for the right candidate
  • Strong documentation habits and communication skills
  • You must complete the brief screening questions as part of your application
