Respiratory Therapist

Springs Village Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will provide expert respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting optimal lung function through assessment, treatment, and education.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory ailments and disorders.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments such as oxygen therapy, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and mechanical ventilation assistance.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions and proper use of respiratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments given.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Requirements

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification.
• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• CPR certification required.
