Le responsable du transit aérien est un officier qui prend en charge la gestion logistique des flux de matériel, de personnel et de fret militaire transitant par voie aérienne. Il travaille au sein d'une base aérienne ou d'un escadron de transit, en lien direct avec les équipages, les techniciens, les unités opérationnelles et les commandements logistiques.
