RN Nurse Manager – Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care
Levindale Hospital | Baltimore, MD

At Levindale Hospital, we bring together the best of both worlds — the specialized, close-knit feel of a post-acute rehabilitation hospital and skilled nursing facility, backed by the strength and resources of LifeBridge Health, one of Maryland’s largest and most respected health systems.

If you’re a dynamic nursing leader who thrives at the intersection of rehabilitation, geriatric care, and complex medical nursing, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Why This Role Stands Out

This isn’t just a management role — it’s a chance to lead a highly skilled team caring for patients on some of the most critical and transformative journeys of their recovery. From post-surgical rehab to stroke and cardiac recovery, your leadership will directly shape outcomes, experiences, and team culture.

What You’ll Do

As Nurse Manager, you will:

  • Lead from the front — mentor and develop your Assistant Nurse Manager and frontline team while serving as a visible, hands-on clinical leader
  • Shape the culture — foster an environment grounded in psychological safety, accountability, and clinical excellence
  • Drive operations — oversee staffing, workflows, and daily operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and fiscal stewardship
  • Champion quality & compliance — ensure adherence to Joint Commission, CARF, CMS, and National Patient Safety Goals while leading performance improvement initiatives
  • Develop your team — coach, evaluate, and elevate RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff, promoting growth and internal mobility
  • Collaborate across disciplines — partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and families to deliver seamless, patient-centered care
What You Bring
  • Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program
  • ASN required | BSN preferred
  • 5–7 years of nursing experience in LTC, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation
  • At least 2 years in a leadership, charge, or supervisory role
  • Active Maryland RN license
  • BLS/CPR (American Heart Association)
  • Strong clinical knowledge in geriatric, subacute, rehab, or memory care
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation + comprehensive health and retirement benefits
  • Tuition reimbursement (BSN, MSN, certifications)
  • Leadership development and ongoing clinical education
  • Wellness programs and free on-site parking
  • A workplace you can be proud of — dual accreditation from The Joint Commission and CARF, reflecting our deep commitment to quality care
