Steven enjoys the challenge of each job because no two houses are the same, and he gets excited to come to work because his team and leaders are always willing to help!Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform site survey appointments as scheduled, collecting site information, taking clear photos and preparing packages for downstream teams and taking action as appropriate to keep the project pipeline movingProvide detailed information regarding structural and electrical systems, roof quality and measurementsMust become Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 licensed and trained to safely perform sUAS (drone) operations in residential areas that are FAA approved for flightBuild a positive customer experience through integrity and discussing project details and documenting or raising any concerns as appropriateUse software systems to record progress of various tasks in a timely mannerSupport the branch admin team with organization as it pertains to Site Survey objectivesMay support other fuctions (e.g. Inspections and Permitting)Qualifications/How You Will Be SuccessfulMinimum of 1 year previous field construction experience is helpfulMust be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background checkWithin 90 days of employment, must pass the FAA Part 107 knowledge exam and acquire a Remote Pilot rating for sUAS commercial operationsDrone experience and/or remote pilot rating for sUAS commercial operations is preferredAbility to communicate with customers in a courteous and professional mannerMust be a motivated great teammate, looking to succeed with excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skillsBasic digital literacy, bonus points for previous PV design or PV Electrical experiencePhysical DemandsAbility to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balanceAbility to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently)Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of heightAbility to work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces which requires kneeling and crouchingAbility to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidityAbility to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills including but not limited to: fine manipulation, grasping, and pinchingAbility to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses and other personal protective equipmentAbility to hear verbal commands and warningsAbility to walk on rafters, roof tiles, and roof shingles without damageAbility to work in the sun and possibly low light conditionsHow you will be RewardedFull benefits package including health, vision, dental insurance, 401K with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Program, paid training, and much moreThe opportunity to invest in yourself and your career through PowerU - Sunrun's 100% tuition reimbursement program with over 150 educational opportunitiesLeadership and financial support in obtaining a Part 107 (drone operation) certificationCompetitive hourly base pay paid biweekly and eligibility for bonus compensationInternal advancement opportunities, as earnedRecruiter:Reva Tambo (reva.tambo@sunrun.com)Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to acts, such as The Equal Pay Transparency Act.
