How you’ll make an impact in this role

Perform a variety of duties in surgical services to maintain a well-supplied, sterile environment.

• Perform terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment and air vents.
• Transport case carts, equipment and supplies and dispose of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventories at an appropriate par level.
• Provide physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting and, moving as directed by clinical nursing staff.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,
    if applicable.
