Le technicien de maintenance armement intervient sur tout type de matériel militaire (sécurités siège éjectable, verrière, munitions). Il assure leur entretien, leur mise en configuration opérationnelle et leur vérification technique avant usage. Il peut aussi participer à la préparation au tir, à l'installation des équipements d'armement et à leur démontage après mission.
